'Temple Ruins' Orchid Mounts Set

These ceramic orchid mounts are perfect for miniature lithophytes and epiphytes.
Intended to evoke the feeling of jungle ruins, each mount is formed by pressing recycled clay into a mold and allowed to dry before firing.
The mount is offered in two versions, one fully fired stoneware which sheds almost all the water that strikes it and one that is bisqued which gives it a strength like terracotta but allows it to wick and hold moisture to maintain slightly elevated humidity for more demanding plants.
Epidendrum porpax and Brassoepidendrum 'green dragon' have both thrived on these mounts in my care and after roots encase the mount it looks amazing!
