Marbled Stoneware Pot

This stoneware pot is hand-thrown in California by Craig P. Burrows.
Inspired in form by the classic terracotta design, this pot was instead composed of two blended clays; one firing to black and the other a very rich and groggy red. This pot is not merely coated in slip but is a marbled body throughout.
The foot is carved with a drainage slot to complement a large drainage hole to promote the health of the plant(s) living in it.
