San Francisco's premier destination for pole fitness.

POLE Classes

Pole dance and pole fitness training is one of the hottest trends for both women and men. Whether you’re a serious athlete or just looking to get into better shape, pole training can completely transform your upper body strength, core stamina, cardiovascular conditioning, flexibility and rhythm.

Private pole parties at Studio Botan can make your special event unique and memorable. Whether it's a Bachelorette, Birthday party or Corporate event, come and dance, laugh, giggle, and pole with your friends to enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime event that you will be talking about for years.

Private Training

If you’re up to the challenge, private trainer sessions with our Instructors will replace your cardio, flexibility, and strength programs with a single fun workout that will leave you ripped and equipped with new moves to amaze your friends!

Studio Botan is SF Pole and Dance on May 16!

To our dearest customers and subscribers,

After over four years in business, Studio Botan is changing management. The same space that you know and love will be rebranded as San Francisco Pole and Dance starting Monday, May 16. The studio will be owned by Amy Bond, a current Studio Botan instructor well-known in the Bay Area pole community. San Francisco Pole & Dance (SFPD) will be expanding course offerings to include contortion, flexibility, yoga for aerialists, competition classes, studio rentals and an expanded set of drop in classes for everyone from beginners to advanced students! Check out the website to learn more!

To our current students, the business change will have little impact on your status. Studio Botan classes will continue through May 14. If you’ve paid for classes or a membership, San Francisco Pole and Dance will continue to honor these purchases. And we’re still in the same beautiful location in SoMA, teaching pole dance and fitness to people of all genders, shapes and sizes.

Vivian, who took over as the manager of Studio Botan two years ago, and Lisette, our community manager, will be leaving in order to focus on new ventures.

We have been absolutely amazed with all the love and support over the years. There are too many people to thank, too many tricks that we’ve learned to name, and too many fun and exciting workshops from pol-ebrities to highlight. Thank you for being a part of the pole fitness community. Here’s to its continued success and acceptance as a unique expression of strength, grace and flexibility!
